If you have difficulties getting the RGB Fusion to work with the Waterforce X series of CPU Liquid Coolers, here's what finally worked for me.
After upgrading the firmware of the Waterforce X 280 to v1.6 (originally 1.1), RGB Fusion gave an error trying to configure the LCD, and it still wouldn't change the colors of the fans. The RGB Fusion software would recognize the Waterforce X cooler, but I couldn't configure the colors of the fans, though I could change the LCD display. The issue I encountered is from trying to use AORUS Engine 2.1.0. I'm writing this because I found a half dozen comments about it not working and many suggestions, none of which worked for me.
